Description: In May 1882 the whole of school moved up the road from the Old Blundell’s School site to the new purpose built site on Blundell’s Road. In 1904 the tercentenary of the school was celebrated and the boarding houses had been built with funds from the first boarding housemates and the chapel had been built entirely through voluntary subscription. The set of buildings associated with Blundell’s School is visually important and an architecturally interesting part of Tiverton’s’ Townscape. The School is a well-known feature of Tiverton and an important part of the history of the town.
