A dark ring-shaped cropmark is visible. Some inaccuracy is likely as the number of suitable control points for rectification was very limited.

Devon County Council, 1990, DAP 6814, DAP 6814/13-14 28-MAY-1990 (QU) (Aerial Photograph). SDV358594.

A very indistinct narrow curviinear cropmark is visible.

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A dark curvilinear cropmark, less than one metre wide, is visible on specialist oblique aerial photographs taken in 1987, forming a partial ring-shaped feature circa 16 metres wide. The south-east side is not visible. The ring ditch may have formed over the ditch of a Bronze Age barrow, but other explanations are possible. A very indistinct narrow cropmark of similar form and size is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1990, but no evidence of the ring ditch was seen on any other available aerial photographs, including several of this area where cropmarks of archaeological origin are clearly defined.
Many of the aerial photographs consulted by the survey are copies of DAPs held by the Historic England Archive. In some cases these have been recorded as separate sources. This is because variations in the way the prints have been processed could result in images on which archaeological features are visible to a greater or lesser degree.
