Full description
Mr. Purnell, Standing Stone (Worksheet). SDV341739.
Standing stone about 7 feet tall, almost square in section of about 10 inches. Located immediately south of modern stile on footpath running east-west across field. Stile probably on north-south boundary (now dismantled) joining northernmost point of southern boundry to this field. The standing stone is offset from assumed boundary and directly opposite a similar stone across Abbey River.
