The cropmarks correspond with field boundaries depicted on the Tithe Map for Bishopsteignton but not the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25inch map. The cropmarks are interpreted as evidence of field boundaries of probable medieval origin that were removed by circa 1880.
The cropmarks have not been transcribed by the survey.
