Summary

Very small terraces only a few centimetres in depth with widths of 9 to 15m. Near them are indiscriminately scattered heaps of stones, some in line and roughly parallel to the terraces. Vis=25/5/1978(os) similar terraces lie at sx696789, see sx67ne/92. Possibly iron age. Vis=6/3/1986 (robinson) fmw visit. Vis=6/8/1986 (robinson) fmw visit. Vis=smc granted for the backfilling of a hole in building 8 (dnh:29/11/1994).

(25/05/1978) At C (SX 699792) are very small terraces only a few inches in depth with widths of 32 to 50 feet. Near them are indiscriminately scattered heaps of stones, some in line and roughly parallel to the terraces, about 3 feet diameter and 18 inches high.
At E (SX 696789) similar terraces are being destroyed by pasturing (see sx67ne/92). Possibly Iron Age.
