Full description

National Trust, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV5615.
Vis=-/11/1992 (national trust) fine granite lintel (1m x 0.5m) from tudor kitchen, lying on w edge of main track between house site and stable block. Carries family coat of arms and date 1588. Below coat of arms is inscription in latin, which when translated reads "the lord being my helper i shall not fear what man may do unto me. " at present stonework reasonably well preserved, with inscription and coat of arms decipherable (national trust).
