Full description
National Trust, 1993, Dunsland, Devon, 15 (Report - Survey). SDV4675.
Walled garden built towards end of 18c at the time the park and surrounding land was planted. In serious state of decay, in places walls stand to ht of approx 4m, elsewhere completely degraded or deteriorating. Some young oaks planted inside, but mainly scrub.

In the early eighteenth century the house was set within a formal landscape, but later acquired a small landscape park, pleasure ground and walled gardens. The walled gardens are now ruinous.
