Orchard shown on Tithe Map of 1841. Probably similarly used by 1633 as indicated by Pierce's manuscript map of that date. A lease relating to Higher Mill, Cullompton, which includes the orchard refers to it as 'Selways', presumably the name of an earlier owner.
