Tumulus (site of) marked on os 6" 1963 [sic] map (nmr, citing os).

Vis=29/9/1975 (os) recorded by no other authority but the site does appear on the os 6" 1906 (nmr, citing os).

Vis=19/11/1975 (os) this site is inaccessible under dense gorse cover (nmr, citing os).

Vis=28/2/1989 (rchme) the ngr falls on a moderate e-facing slope. The area is under grass with numerous clumps of gorse but is now quite accessible. No trace of this tumulus exists above ground. It was not found by grinsell, farway 42. It is not recorded on the os 6" 1891 and appeared in 1906 as a "site of" symbol. Hutchinson did not record it. The original source remains unknown (nmr, citing pattison).
