(02/03/1971) Hut circles on Buttern Hill. One of 11. Well preserved. Walls maximum 3 courses high.
(21/01/2004) As above. Part of a coaxial field system, prehistoric settlements and cairns on 'Buttern Hill'. The monument also includes a length of the 'Bradford leat'.

(30/07/1974) One of a group of thirteen identifiable hut circles, with an associated field system, extending for 200m along the eastern side of Buttern Hill. Internal diameters are between 8.5m and 10.5m and heights from 0.4m to 1m. Condition of huts generally good. See SX68NE/18 for full details on huts and associated field system.
