Full description
National Trust, 1984, Knightshayes Court, Devon (Report - Survey). SDV341846.
Land Use Consultants, 1998, Knightshayes Park Survey Plan (Report - Survey). SDV341869.
Visited on 16/03/1998. Located on west side of the park, 140 metres noth-west of the cricket pavillion. Extends from Bolham village along south-west side of park to main drive. Can be traced in the field for almost 500 metres as a footpath with the remains of a stone reveted bank on the south side, and as an earthwork. It continues for another 120 metres as a track, and joins the drive at a pedestrian gate. At the point where it leaves the park boundary and curves eastwards there are fragments of tarmac, suggesting that it was once a surfaced road. Other details: Appendix 5: site 12.
