Summary

A small Bronze Age cairn located on Holne Ridge 100 metres south west of Horns Cross. The turf and heather covered mound is part of a cairn cemetery on the ridge and measures 3.5 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high. Some of the stoney mound material has been removed from the centre.

Site visited in 29th April 1999. Cairn 80 metres west-south-west of Horn's Cross forming part of a cairn cemetery on Holne Ridge.

Holne Ridge N. cairn '8' at SX66917099 of 3.0 metres diameter by 0.3 metres high is a small cairn pitted at the centre and sited close to a leat.

(25/04/1996) SX 66927100. A small cairn 100 metres south west of Horns Cross. The turf and heather covered mound measures 3.5 metres in diameter and 0.4 metres high. Some of the stoney mound material has been removed from the centre. There is no trace of a kerb or cist.
