Summary
Hut Circle '6' (Butler) in scattered settlement on Holne Moor. Survey in 1996 recorded this feature: hut measures 3.0 metres in diameter internally, with walls 1.3 metres wide, 0.2 metres high. Mutilated by a tin pit previously recorded as a cairn.

Full description

(Visited 04/05/1999) SX 6670 7125 Hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement 430 metres north-west of Horn's Cross. Diameter 3.7 metres. Internal area 10.74 metres. Rubble wall 1.2 metres wide, 0.4 metres high. Partly underlies spoil from the prospecting pit lying immediately upslope. A gap in the south-west wall may have originally contained a doorway. Grass and heather.
