Summary

An earthwork mound of uncertain date and function is visible on aerial photographs, to the northwest of Lamerton Green. Its proximity to Down Farm to the immediate west, however, may suggest it is some sort of midden or tip site. It is still visible as a substantial earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured in 2007 and 2013

Vis=-/3/1998 (ea) circular mound-like feature depicted to the se of down farm buildings. Also shown on os 1:2500 (1884) map where it appears to be enclosed. The significance of feature is unknown (exeter archaeology).
