Remains of american landing craft.06-jul-1984 examined in 50 38 05n 003 02 57w. Swept clear at 20m foul at 20.3m. Least depth 21.7m in general depth 24m. No scour. Height 3.5m, length 10m, beam 4m. Lying 140/320 deg. Reported to be a landing craft having flat deck and 3 hatches, other than bows blown off is in reasonable condition.07-feb-1985 dived on in 1984, a steel landing craft, or similar, has no ramp and stern has been blown open in an explosion. Dimensions 36 x 15feet. Lies upright and stands 7 feet above seabed. Possibly of american manufacture (nmr).
