Summary
Hut circle in settlement to the north-west of Yellowmeade Farm. Partly demolished hut (Butler's hut '9') lies to the north-east of a small cairn (MDV28491). Diameter 2.6m. Rubble wall 1m wide, 0.4m high. Only the eastern arc of this structure is visible. The remainder may have been robbed to construct the nearby cairn. Low grass cover (1999 visit).

(11/06/1999) SX 56487442. Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement 350m north-west of Yellowmeade Farm. Diameter 2.6m. Rubble wall 1m wide, 0.4m high. Only the eastern arc of this structure is visible. The remainder may have been robbed to construct the nearby cairn. Low grass.

Yellowmeade Hut Circle '9' of circa 3.0 metres diameter is partly demolished; apparently to construct the cairn a few metres to the south-west.
