(25/02/2000) Tinwork 200m north of Norsworthy Bridge. A gully measuring up to 3.5m deep looks like an openwork. However its location in the valley bottom may suggest that it was formed by alluvial streamworking, although no evidence of associated leats was noted. It is certainly the result of tin extraction and is earlier than mill which is built within its base.
