Vis=16/3/2000 (robinson) site lies on gentle s slope below the tip of a spur. No visible mound (dprfp).

The ring ditch is visible as a cropmark ditch.

A ring ditch of probable prehistoric date is visible as a cropmark ditch on specialist oblique aerial photographs of 1997, to the southwest of Padbrookhill Cottage. The well-defined, but partial ring ditch measures approximately 21m in diameter and is situated on gentle south facing slope, on the southern side of Padbrook Hill. The southern edge of the ring ditch was not visible. The ring ditch was not observed on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
