Derelict track. Private track to enclosed fields mentioned as 'Stowford Way' in 1811 Enclosure Award and map for Berry Down. See PRN 20930. Indicated as running from SS56654308 to SS57054301.

The 1811 Enclosure Award authorised a private trackway, 'Stowford Way', from 'East Stowford Barton' to the Ilfracombe Road, to the west of 'Berry Down Cross'. The modern access track runs c300m to the west. No sign of 'Stowford Way' was found by Exeter Archaeology in 2002, but a gate was located at the northern end. Other details: Fig 5, Site 13.
