Full description

Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., 152305 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Site visit 1st April 1999. Hut circle, 7.4 metres diameter. Earthwork and single orthostat wall, 1.5 metres wide, 0.35 metres high. Appears to be butted by walls. Vegetation: grass and bracken.

Hut circle on Horridge Common
Turf covered hut circle on the SE slope of Rippon Tor. Built into the corner of a small rectangular enclosure (MDV106561) which is itself attached to a reave. Condition is stable. SX75160 75250
