Site visit 1st April 1999. Shelter on Halsanger Common.

Butler depicts this feature (7). A tumble of stones is the possible remains of a hut at the junction of a field wall and the axial reave.

Shelter in reave system on Halshanger Common
An open-ended rectangular structure measuring 3.8 metres by 2.3 metres, built into the south side of a reave. A probable shelter, but the date is unknown. Condition is stable. SX74820 74700
