Summary
Vis=25/9/2000 (knights + horner ) fragments of iron slag have been found in the gardens of rock villa and dallyns, brayford. Significant quantity overall and from most levels of the gardens, which slope upwards to the nw. At dallyns, c. Ss68603477, at the base of the garden, there is an in-situ concreted lump of either slag or iron ore (horner).
