Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950 - 1980, SX67SW15 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV237297.
A small turf-covered cairn with central hollow, 0.2 meters deep, which may represent a filled in cist. A buried slab of granite just south-east of the cairn might be a capstone of such a cist. Condition of cairn is fairly good and it measures 4.5 meters in diameter, and 0.5 meters in height. (4/9/1950)
Conforms to Ridyard's measurements with a disturbed centre and a probable kerb (18/1/1980). Other details: Including plan.
Grinsell, L. V., 1978, Dartmoor Barrows, 151 (Article in Serial). SDV273224.

Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, 1985, Aerial Photograph Project (Dartmoor) - Dartmoor Pre-NMP (Cartographic). SDV319854.
Not visible on Royal Air Force aerial photographs.
Fletcher, M. J., 1988, Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England (Report - Survey). SDV214888.
A turf-covered cairn, slightly spread on the northern side, measuring 5.0 meters by 4.8 meters and 0.5 meters in height. An almost centrally placed upright slab, 0.6 meters long and 0.13 meters wide and a large slab at the foot of the mound could both be part of a disturbed cist. There is no evidence of a kerb.

'Cairn 6' at 'Round Hill cairns' of 4.8 metres diameter by 0.4 metres high. Only the tops of one side and one end slab of the cist are visible.
