House and barn at Youldens visited on 6th September 2000, by P. Child and M. Laithwaite. The building currently in the form of a corn barn appears to have started as a dwelling of pre-18th century date. One roof truss appears to be 17th century, reused. A fireplace, stair and mullioned windows survive from the dwelling house. Converted into a barn in 18th century, when a linhay was added on the west side.
