Full description
Oxford Archaeotechnics Ltd, 1999, Sidmouth Sewage Transfer & Treatment Scheme: Archaeological Geophysical Survey, Area 1 (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV356423.
A geophysical survey was carried out in April 1999 at the site of a proposed sewage treatment works to the northeast of sidford. No anomalies were recorded that could confidently be interpreted as being of archaeological significance. However, a number of prehistoric flint artefacts were noted on the field surface, both tools and flint debris, with concentrations at NGR SY13489044 and SY13709045.
