Toll house near Kennerleigh on old Exeter and South Molton road.

Toll house on the old Exeter to South Molton road, near Kennerleigh (Sheldon 1933). Turnpike House is marked on the 1906 6 inch Ordnance Survey map. The gate still remains.

On the east side of the old South Molton road, three quarters of a mile north of Kennerleigh, just past the turning for Woolfardisworthy. A two storey tollhouse similar to Chenson and Copplestone.

Toll house built in 1829, replacing an earlier one. Sold in 1884 when the Turnpike Trust came to an end. A pebbledashed house with a slate roof but which was originally slated. The original porch has been replaced.
