Full description
Newman,, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV141348.
The 2003 survey by english heritage found remains of the building shown to the south of the lane on os 25" (1880s) map. A building platform was identified in the northern corner of the plot defined by a shallow scarp at each end. A low mound in the centre may comprise turf covered rubble from the ruined structure. The 1838 tithe map showed a second building to the southeast (newman).
