Archway on point of cliff edge.
Archway in landscaped park by Sir James Hamlyn. Probably early 19th century. Coursed rubble arch with rustic wooden brackets under the arch head. The archway set over a cleft in the rocks, through it passes a pathway to a viewing-place situated right on the cliff edge with a prospect out to sea.
Part of the landscaped park created by Sir James Hamlyn around Clovelly Court in the late 18th-/early 19th century. Other details: LBS number 91164.
