Access road to Meshaw Barton, as shown on Tithe Map. Part of present access track from west (SS76051960-SS76241939) follows what was marked on Tithe Map as a footpath. Access track to east, across Meshaw Barton Bridge to crossroads at SS76551975 also post dates Tithe Map. 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map shown same road system as 1962 6 inch map.
