A watching brief was undertaken by Exeter Archaeology in 2001 during groundworks for a proposed extension of Bray Valley Quarries. A few pieces of probable iron slag were recovered from the topsoil of the 11 boreholes and more pieces from the east of the site. Other details: Plan.
