Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV239348.

Des=bruce, b. /dtrg newsletter/22(2001)5-9/over tor brook survey completed. Streamwork predates warren activity of late c18. There is clear evidence of different phases of streamworking. Areas of parallel waste heaps at an angle to the stream appear to be from an early phase with examples at ngrs sx55747559, sx55877556 + sx56167553. A well preserved set of parallel waste heaps at ngr sx56207555 are at a higher level than the rest of the working and presumably relate to the northward push of workings in this area. The final stage of working is represented by substantial banks and channels parallel to the scarp with examples at ngr sx55787559, sx55887558, sx56037555 + sx56097554 (bruce).

PASSMORE, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV315068.

Des=passmore, a. /dtrg newsletter/19(2000)6/survey weekends 2000. Streamwork cuts through prehistoric great western reave + stone bank appears to come off it although may be of modern origin (passmore).
