Full description
Child, P. C., 1999, Untitled Source (Site Visit). SDV240117.
Two walled gardens appear to have been the vegetable gardens attached to 'Winsford Tower'. The walls are constructed of brown 'Amprophyre' stone. The soil was replaced within the gardens. Greenhouses & conservatories survive in the western garden, some of which are being reconstructed. The walls and structures are of late 19th- to early 20th century date
