A cluster of World War II mortar emplacements were recorded at the lower end of the streamwork.

Greeves, T. + Passmore, A., 2000, Fieldwork and post-excavation update, 5 (Article in Serial). SDV247530.

Further World War II mortar emplacements were found with associated pits possibly for ammunition and two slit trenches.

Bruce, B., 2001, Over Tor Brook survey completed, 5-9 (Article in Serial). SDV253310.

World War II earthworks including slit trenches were also located at SX 5609 7550.
