Full description

Bampton, J., 01/11/2012, Assess Potential Archaeological Impact of a Barn Conversion at Cadeleigh Court, Cadeleigh (Report - Watching Brief). SDV350772.

The L-shaped building is independent of the other structures within the former farmyard. The northern limb of the 'L' is of one and a half storeys with an A-framed roof, which extends the length of this element. The south limb of the building has a simple mono pitched roof, without loft space above, and is open fronted, facing west into the yard. The entire roof is comprised of corrugated metal sheeting; the walls are made up of cob, random rubble stone and concrete block.
The building has no significant historical or archaeological value as it is a very simple structure that has had numerous repairs throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.
