Visited during May 1968. Round barrow on moorland partly under gorse and brambles. Size and shape difficult to determine because of the undergrowth: about 2.5 feet high and 18 yards in diameter. The surface is uneven and it has been dug into. On the top towards the east side there is a trench 1 foot by 6 feet, by 1 foot deep. Other details: Map.

Visited on 20th November 1979. Diameter 19.2 metres, height 0.80 metre. Low, badly disturbed mound, gorse/bramble covered on reclaimed moorland. Half of field has been ploughed, but barrow not yet touched. Mound has hummocky surface due to trenching. Signs of ditch circa 5 metres wide and 15 centimetres deep on west and north side although rather vague. In pasture (ploughing for pasture improvement?). Poor condition.
