Full description

Royal Commission for the Historical Monuments of England, 1987-1993, Duchy Farms Project Survey Visit, S. Probert (Report - Survey). SDV350839.

(07/09/1992) SX 67027604. A solitary hut circle situated within a well-developed parallel reave system (SX 67 NE 137) on the south-eastern flank of Riddon Ridge.
The hut measures 4.3m in internal diameter with turf-covered walls 1.6m wide and a maximum of 0.4m high. The interior has been levelled by cutting into the slope 0.3m on the south-west. There is no obvious entrance; the eastern wall of the hut is attached to a reave.

(17/03/1999) Stone hut circle forming part of a prehistoric settlement situated within an irregular aggregate field system on Riddon Ridge. Diameter 3.4m. Earthwork and rubble wall 1.7m wide, 0.35m high. Reaves abut this hut. A 155 degree facing gap may represent a doorway. This hut survives as an earthwork except in the ne sector where rubble walling is visible. Grass.
