The modern clapper bridge over the Wallabrook was built by Mr. George French in 1902.

Clapper bridge. "according to J. Brooking Rowe, the clapper bridge at Yartor was re-erected in 1888 by the Committee of the Dartmoor Preservation Association".

(03/06/1980) A clapper bridge which has one pier and stands 1.3m above Walla Brook (see ground photograph). The two slabs forming the spans are 1.3m long and 0.8m wide Immediately north of the bridge is an upright slab 0.4m by 0.7m and 1.3m high.
Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD.
