Full description

Stephenson, G., 2001, Archaeological Desk Top Study: Flavel Centre, Dartmouth (Report - Assessment). SDV319967.

In a print dated 1866 the area to the north of 'The Butterwalk' is shown as a quay for unloading ships. Access was via a passageway from 'Duke Street'. In 1876-7 this land was reclaimed.
