Horner, W., 2001, Snapes Point (Personal Comment). SDV336275.
Site visit by Gatehouse, Simpson and Horner. Possible site of enclosure. Prominent hill with excellent views. Former hedgebank, recorded on Ordnance Survey 1963 map, encloses part of hilltop. Royal Air Force 1946 aerial photograph may show short length of earthwork, or natural scarp, at c SX74283970. Nothing visible on ground today, with many hedges removed. Natural geology is close to surface.
