Newnham Park is a large country house in a landscaped park extending to circa 200 acres. According to Polwhele in 1806 the park was 'well stocked with deer, well wooded and having the river Torey running through it'. Features shown on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch (1904) map include a long narrow fishpond to the west of the house, kennels to the north and the deer park extending to the north-west. Some of the wooded parkland survives.
