Summary
Late c16/early c17 threshing barn with a pair of opposing doors + a large arched opening in the north wall which stands opposite the ruined gatehouse of 'columbjohn mansion' to the west of the 'chillacombe farm'. The walls are of stone rubble with the lower courses possibly being of c16 date under a slate roof. The mid c19 round house was probably removed when the barn was reroofed in the 1960's (nt).
