Site of Gunn's Tenement' shown on an estate map of Killerton of 1756. Recorded as a house, orchard and garden covering 91 acres mostly to the northeast on the opposite side of the road. The house seems to have been along the hollow way near the river which is now a drain. The site of a dried up pond is visible against the road hedge.
Collings, A. G., 2017, Some Problems with Fulchere's Devon Manors (Article in Serial). SDV360800.
Collings suggests that this was the site of the mansion house referred to in the will of David Gunn dated 1698.
