A possible quarry is visible on aerial photographs and images derived from lidar data as an oval earthwork pit approximately 30 metres long, north to south, and 20 metres wide east to west, on the north-west facing slopes to the west of Lower Comberoy Farm. The date and product of the quarry are unknown but it is probable that the quarry is post-medieval to 19th century in date.
