Small rectangular building shown on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map in north-west corner of field adjacent to the railway.

National Trust, 2000, Killerton Estate Archaeological Survey. Part 5. The Farms: Francis Court - Yarde, 427 (Report - Survey). SDV39783.

A building platform, 10 metres by 5 metres, in the corner of the road-railway crossing may signify the remains of 'Outer Yarde Farm'. An orchard and garden with a rectangular structure, which may have been an outbuilding for the farm, are shown on the 1842 Silverton Tithe Map. Other details: 6.
