Summary
During the excavations by exeter archaeology in 1994 a circular feature 5.9m diameter was identified to the east of the outer interupted ditch on the west slope of raddon hill. The feature was excavated to a depth of 2.2m + interpreted as the weathering cone of a well. To the northwest a waterworn channel led to a possible reservoir but a date could not be established for these features (gent+knight).

GENT+KNIGHT, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV48221.
During the excavations by exeter archaeology in 1994 a circular feature 5.9m diameter was identified to the east of the outer interupted ditch on the west slope of raddon hill. The feature was excavated to a depth of 2.2m + interpreted as the weathering cone of a well. To the northwest a waterworn channel led to a possible reservoir but a date could not be established for these features (gent+knight).
