Summary
During the excavations by exeter archaeology in 1994 over 1000 flint + chert artefacts were recovered. The neolithic assemblage includes five leaf-shaped arrowheads, flakes, blades, 15 scrapers, 20 cores, three piercing tools, a fabricator + a knife. The lower fill of the westernmost ditch of the neolithic enclosure produced a polished stone axehead c11cm x 7.5cm x 2cm thich of possibly jadeite or nephrite suggesting it was imported. A few of the artefacts suggested a mesolithic origin (gent+knight).

GENT+KNIGHT, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV48221.
During the excavations by exeter archaeology in 1994 over 1000 flint + chert artefacts were recovered. The neolithic assemblage includes five leaf-shaped arrowheads, flakes, blades, 15 scrapers, 20 cores, three piercing tools, a fabricator + a knife.
