Summary

During the excavations by exeter archaeology in 1994 357 sherds of prehistoric pottery were recovered made from eight different fabrics. A few sherds have been identified as neolithic of the 3rd - 4th millenium bc. A classic neolithic trumpet lug in cornish 'gabbroic' fabric was recovered from a ditch of the causewayed enclosure (gent+knight).
