Full description

Exeter Archaeology, 1999, Archaeological Assessment of SWW Rothernbridge to Brynsworthy Water Main: Stage 1 (Rothernbridge to Gammaton Moor), 3 (Report - Assessment). SDV449.

Weare Giffard Mill Leat commenced at a weir on the river Torridge at NGR SS47452060 in Great Torrington parish and followed the river's meandering course. The leat may have powered up to three mills.
