'Weir' shown on River Lowman, to south of Ford's Brewery.

Site of the weir that powered the woollen mill may have been the one referred to as 'latelie erected' in a lease of 1646. At that time it was associated with a leat to the south of the River Lowman. There is no trace of the weir remaining.
