Collings, A. G., 2001, Archaeological Assessment of Proposed Dartmouth Sewage Treatment Scheme (Report - Assessment). SDV336229.
Dartmouth Corporation Water Works established a covered reservoir at this location between 1885 and 1904. It was presumably served from the pumping station at Sandquay possibly using water derived from the Sandquay Mill leat. The site is now within the Royal Naval College grounds.
